My name is Shelly Skinner and I have my Honours Degree in Education. I have been a Business and Math high school teacher for over 20 years. Considering my passion for education, I decided to purchase the Kumon franchise in the city of Sault Ste. Marie to help students reach their full potential.

With two children of my own, I understand the importance of having a strong educational foundation. My youngest son was a Kumon success story as he transferred from the French to English school system. This is what inspired me to become a Kumon instructor; knowing first-hand how well the Kumon Method works.
