Laurentian Investors Group - LIG

Over the last few years, students of the Faculty of Management at have made it clear that they are not aware of the opportunities available in the financial sector. The financial sector is one of the most complicated and profitable sectors within the business industry.
Industry professionals have determined that a solid foundation in investing that is developed early on in an individual’s career can better prepare them for success in the financial sector.

The objective of the Laurentian Investors Group (LIG) is to provide students with an intermediate look at the financial industry. LIG strives to provide members one on one coaching from industry professionals and provide them with knowledge to become individual investors. At LIG, a few of the things to expect are:

- Pitches and financial market event presentations
- LIG events to network with other members and professionals
- Q&A session at the end of each meeting to ask questions related to finance
