LaZerte LEGACY Foundation

Mission:
• To support the advancement of education and camaraderie at M.E LaZerte High School through Leadership, Extracurricular activities, Grants, Academics, Community and Youth

Vision:
• Create a learning environment dedicated to producing student leaders in the school and community in disciplines encompassing academics, arts, athletics, business, science and technology
• Provide financial support for student led initiatives in the school and community
• Provide scholarships, bursaries and prizes for student achievements
• Bridge the gap between traditional educational principles and rapidly changing technological environments
• Encourage innovative and holistic techniques for educating students
• Promote partnerships between the city, province, community organizations, educational institutions, businesses, industry and M.E LaZerte High School
• Engage faculty and staff responsible for educating and mentoring students within the school in high quality professional development opportunities
• Become an educational leader in Edmonton, Alberta and Canada by creating a model for alumni relations within the parameters of the public school system
