Lightkeepers Seafood Restaurant/Great Viking Feast is family-owned and operated right here in St. Anthony, Newfoundland/Labrador. Since our company started in 1993, we’ve listened to our customers wishes and endeavoured to exceed their expectations.
We started with the 35 seat Lightkeepers Seafood Restaurant in an abandoned Lightkeepers House that we renovated/rebuilt on scenic Fishing Point in St. Anthony, NL, Canada.
In 1998 we built the only sod covered restaurant in North America and named the venue "The Great Viking Feast"on a site near the original restaurant. This 100 seat dinner theater has since entertained over 60,000 satisfied customers for food, fun and feuds at our "Althing" or Viking court of law.
Expansion was on our mind in 2004 when we redeveloped the reasturant and expanded it to 66 seats in the original building making our total seating capacity 166.
