Making Memories Photography by Heidi

Hello! Welcome! My name is Heidi vanBeek, and I am a natural light photographer based out of Edmonton, AB. I specialize in Family, Maternity and Case Smash session. I am wife to my husband Peter, mother to my beautiful daughter and son!

So why did I become a photographer? Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was in elementary. My parents could find me with my dad’s camera, clicking away at bugs and rainbows and silly faces, and eventually when I was old enough to purchase my own camera, I ran to that store as fast as I could. I was on cloud 9!

Now I love seeing the smiles, laughter and love you give your children at your family session, as you laugh at your one year old as they eat their cake and make a large mess, or as you look at love at the baby growing in you. I would honored to be the one behind the camera capturing you and your families lives, making memories.

I believe that photography can change how people feel about themselves, and that makes my job the best in the world.
