Marché Finnegan - Finnegan's Market

Finnegan est le marché aux puces dHudson situé à l'extrémité ouest de la ville dans les domaines de la ferme Aird. Les Aird ont ouvert le marché il ya 43 ans! Le marché aux "puces" est nommé en l'honneur de Finnegan, le chien des Aird. Depuis lors le marché s'est développé pour inclure des antiquités et objets d'artisanat et couvre tout le champ à côté de la maison de l'Aird en plus des granges.

Le marché Finnegan est ouvert le samedi seulement, du premier samedi de mai au dernier samedi d'octobre. Les kiosques sont ouverts de 9h00 à 16h00. En plus des marchandises de marché aux puces typique, il ya souvent des étals avec des articles de qualité plus élevés, y compris des antiquités, bijoux, plantes et fleurs, légumes biologiques. Des hot-dogs, glaces et boissons gazeuses sont également disponibles. Outre les stands, il y a une grange pleine d'antiquités restaurées et de reproduction qui est ouvert toute l'année sur rendez-vous.

Finnegans is Hudsons flea market situated in the west end of town in the fields of the Airds farm. The Airds started it 43 years ago and named it after their dog, Finnegan, since it was to be a "flea" market. Since then it has grown to include antiques and many handicrafts and has spread to encompass the whole field beside the Airds house and barns.

Finnegans market is open Saturdays from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October. The stalls at Finnegans open at 9:00 am and close at 4:00 pm. In addition to stall with typical flea market merchandise there are often stalls with higher quality items including antiques, jewelry, plants and flowers, organic vegetables and hot dogs, ice cream and soft drinks are also available. Besides the stalls, there is a barn full of antiques, both restored and reproduction which is open year round by appointment.
