MassMin 2012 will bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners to present the latest accomplishments, innovations and potential future directions in mass mining and its applications around the world.
The first Massmin was convened in Denver, USA (1982), and subsequently in Johannesburg, South Africa(1992), in Brisbane, Australia(2000), in Santiago, Chile(2004), in Lulea, Sweden(2008) and now in Sudbury, Ontario Canada (2012).
The objective of MassMin is to facilitate close dialogue among experts on issues relating to research, technological development and the application of Mass Mining around the world. This conference promotes strong interactions between academic and industry in all the aspects of the technology.
