Matka Global Collective

For the past 2 years our family has been travelling the world, wandering through the markets of Asia, Europe and Central America to handpick our favorite treasures. The idea behind this collection is to share the stories of our adventures and the stories of the women we work with – talented, capable women who create pieces that represent their culture and history. The vibrant colours of the villages, warmth of the communities and rich heritage of the families we have met and embraced, inspired us to create Matka – the Polish word for “Mother”: representing the creative source that connects us all as one human family. This project fuses our passion for travel, commitment to social justice and love of everything bohemian – Welcome to our journey!

Not only are we devoted to supporting female artisans around the world, 10% of the proceeds go towards various women’s charities in the areas we partner with.
