A 21st Century Soul Club: The Mercury Lounge has been a Mecca for the arts in Canada's capital city of Ottawa, since its inception in November 1996. Its programming purports a musical vision steeped in the traditions
of jazz, nu-jazz, house & live music! Through its dynamic programming, the Mercury Lounge has successfully connected the dots, uniting jazz with contemporary electronic break beat culture. Within its walls the very philosophy of jazz, that of change, abounds. It serves not only as a club, and live venue, but also for poetry readings, dance performances and art gallery.

Trevor Walker Has been DJing since 1989 providing Ottawa with top notch tunes from Afro, Latin, Jazz, Reggae, Disco, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, House and Broken Beats.
Can be found dropping tunes at Mercury Lounge every Saturday for the past 19 years, the "Tropikalo" monthly at the "Happy Goat" as well as numerous guest spots in and around the Ottawa area, Montreal, Toronto and beyond.
Currently hosting a one hour slot on CKCU FM 93.1 called "Friday Drive", every Friday from 5-6 pm, live streaming here:
