Miss Christina's Piano Studio

Miss Christina's Piano Studio provides fun private lessons to beginner and intermediate piano students. Offering lessons at her home studio, Miss Christina teaches piano beginning with the Bastian beginner series and then transitions students into the Royal Conservatory of Music program. Technique is emphasized through regular scale practice and learning of Hanons (fun finger exercises). Music History is integrated as each month focuses on a different composer. During each piano year, students will prepare for two piano recitals (winter and spring). Practice charts and prizes are used as incentives to get young students excited about practicing. Focus on Music Theory and Exam preparation is available upon request.

Miss Christina has been teaching piano for the past 16 years to adults and children as young as four. Miss Christina has experience with Royal Conservatory, modern music, choir accompaniment and more. Miss Christina received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in 2008. She is enjoying living in Cochrane with her 3 children and husband.
