Our family dentists : Dr. Al-Attar and Dr. Rashid

* Dr. Al-Attar is a dedicated caring dentist who has been serving the Ottawa region for over 8 years. He graduated from the University of Toronto where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Baghdad. Over the years, he gained comprehensive experience in managing complex cases in diverse hospital and clinical settings. To guide his practice with the newest advancements in the field, Dr. Al-Attar continues to attend dental conventions and courses in a wide range of research topics, such as Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He has a special interest in Endodontic (Root Canal treatments), as he has developed critical skills required to treat complicated cases of root canal infections.

* Dr. Rashid believes in the power of knowledge and she is on a mission to spread awareness about the impact of excellent oral health on quality of life. She earned her first dental degree, a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan. This comprehensive dental program allowed her to gain skills in a wide range of dental procedures. Dr. Rashid further pursued her dental education at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec where she earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD). The intensive program provided her with extensive experience in multiple clinical settings. Dr. Rashid worked in various dental clinics serving the Ottawa region, where she cared for families and children. She regularly attends educational courses, dental seminars and conventions to continue to advance her dentistry knowledge and skills to provide the best care for her clients.
