What is this store's return and exchange policy?

Mortis Creations will gladly accept returns and exchanges on a case to case basis, so please contact me before sending something back!

I will NOT cover the cost to have an item shipped back OR refund the original cost of shipping, UNLESS the product was damaged, broken, lost, or the wrong product was sent.

Refunds will NOT be provided for any reason until you have contacted me.


Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

The simple answer is yes! Mortis Creations is based out of Northern Ontario, Canada, and gladly ships to most countries. If you aren't sure whether we ship to you, or about the cost of shipping, don't hesitate to contact me.


How long will it take to receive my order?

Due to local mail service limitations, orders can take 1-2 weeks to ship out once they have been placed. If you have not yet received a shipping confirmation email 14 days after placing your order, please contact me.

Orders within Canada should arrive within 1-2 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation. International orders should arrive within 2-8 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation.

Your shipping confirmation email should include an estimated arrival date for your order. If your order does not arrive by this date, please contact me immediately and I will work to find a satisfactory resolution for you.


Do I get a tracking number?

I ship most of my orders using standard delivery, so no, you will not receive a tracking number.

However, if you would like to be able to track your number, please contact me prior to placing your order and I can arrange to have a tracking number attached to your package.

Please keep in mind that requesting a tracking number for your package will affect the cost of shipping.

What payment methods do you accept?

You have the option to cash out using either your PayPal account or your Stripe account. You can also checkout through PayPal as a guest.

I want to custom order a sold out item. Can I?

Generally, no. Most of the items in my shop are one of a kind and cannot be reproduced due to unavailability of materials.

There are some products, however, that can be reproduced, and I have taken the time to note this in the description of said products.


How do I place a custom order?

It's a bit of a process, so bear with me here.

For starters, you will need to contact me via email and I will get back to you within a week. We can either arrange an appointment for a data-based video/voice call, or you can reply with the specifications of what it is you're looking for.

At this point in time, I will give you a price for your order; this price has been heavily considered, factoring in the cost of material as well as the time it will take to complete and is therefore non-negotiable. Should you agree to the price, your order will be placed on a tentative commission list.

You will then be asked to provide a 15% non-refundable deposit on your order and will be given 15 days to do so. If no payment or proof thereof has been received by the end of the given time frame, the order will be cancelled; if payment or proof thereof is received, your order will be added to my active commission list. You will be provided with an estimated completion date at this time.

Once your order is completed, I will send you images and videos of the product via email. At this point in time, you will be given 30 days to provide payment in full. If no payment has been received, a reminder notice will be sent after 25 days.

Once the payment or proof of payment has been received in full, your order will be packaged to ship and you will receive an email with your shipping confirmation. If no payment is received after 30 days, your deposit will be lost and the item will be listed for public sale in the store. Should you choose to purchase the item at this time, you will be required to purchase it as a regular item at full cost.


How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?

The checkout process is powered by both Stripe and PayPal, two of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, BigCartel has all the same securities and payment fraud protection as these leading payment processors. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club. If paying with PayPal, you may also make payments using your bank account, but this may delay your order.
