Mountain View Doggie Day Care, located in Hodgdon, Maine, provides a safe home quality care environment by the day, week or month for your dog while you’re at work, traveling or vacationing in our area.



Business Description

Mountain View Doggie Day Care is a place where the client’s dog(s) can come and enjoy a home setting with lots of exercise, socialization and love while at work or vacationing in or out of our area. Mountain View Doggie Day Care is in the start up phase, opening to full capacity depends on licensing and our family moving out of the facility in late spring early summer. The business will be incorporated as an LLC.

What sets my business apart from other boarding facilities is the quality of care the client’s pet will receive. I offer pick up and delivery to and from their home allowing them one less thing to worry about when getting ready for vacation or work, and allowing the client less stress if time is a factor in leaving the house. I also offer vaccinations if the client missed any of the important ones needed for the dogs stay.

Upon arrival to Mountain View Doggie Day Care, the client’s dog will be in a safe, stress-free home environment with lots of attention, activities and love, couches and chairs to curl upon, along with toys to play with. The dog(s) has access to a large fenced in backyard, allowing for plenty of supervised structured exercise and play time. The saying, “A well exercised dog is a happy dog” is so very true. The dog will not be left alone, but have a human companion for play time and lots of loving. If for any reason I need to leave, the dog will be kenneled for safety. Our down time will have bones (if allowed by owners), toys to chew on for stimulation, then nap time for the ones who need it after a full day of exercise with soothing music playing in the back ground. Clients must bring their dog’s vaccine records along with the dog’s own food, which ensures less stress for the dog and no upset tummies.
