Munich Fire and Ambulance

The fire department consists of approximately 25 volunteer men. Bruce Wirth is the current fire chief, assisted by Todd Eisenzimmer. The eight townships served by the fire district each have one director named to the board.
The ambulance department has approximatly 22 volunteers, five of these are EMTs. This organization became a seperate entity in 2007, with three of the EMTs on the board of directors. Craig Schommer holds the president position on both entities. Rita Wirth is secretary and treasurer for both.
