PET SITTING ~ DOGGIE DAYCARE

Let us remove the worry from leaving your pet home alone all day.
Pet Sitting available in your home by a register veterinary technician. This allows your pet stay in their own, familiar environment, which can be especially helpful for older dogs who often get quite stressed leaving their home environment and going into a kennel with loud rambunctious dogs and different food. Medications will be given by a registered veterinary technician, ensuring all prescriptions are given correctly each and every time, on time It also gives you the peace of mind knowing your home is being cared for while you are away.

Cats: One 40 min. or Two 15 min. visits

IMPAWSIBLE PETS! BEHAVIOUR TRAINING FOR YOUR DOG, CAT or BIRD

Aggression, Dominance, Chewing, Digging, Barking, Destructive behaviour, Peeing on your bed or in weird places, Screaming and Feather Picking, and other behaviour issues all create stress in your home and frustration for family members! Once medical issues are ruled out by your veterinarian we can begin behaviour training....In the beginning, the mother dog creates balance between love and discipline, firmness and fairness, consistency and devotion. They succeed in teaching their puppies self control, how to develop their attention spans and learn more complicated life skills and behaviours. Their relationship is based on love, respect, encouragement and discipline and begins at birth. This process is due to her role as teacher, and is passed on to you when you adopt him! No mother dog puts her puppy in a time out for playing too rough with their mouths or tells her puppy to lay quietly until she is ready to play by promising a treat later. Her maternal drive, body language and constant supervision from birth, helps develop their attention span, self control and social skills. Without any of these, learning life skills would not be possible. This is how dogs learn! Confusion sets in with so many online sites, books and articles all giving conflicting information on the best way to train your dog. It doesn't take long before a frustrated dog owner learns that results if any, are slow and not very effective. Things often get worse and clients still can't get their dogs to walk on a loose leash wearing a normal collar or to come and stay long enough. This usually results in a poor life for the pet and unhappy family members. Understanding dogs and using their natural behavior is how I connect with and train your pet. Most dogs pull and tug on their leash the entire walk, making the walks tiring, unpleasant and stressful and usually results in less walks... which only increases the problem. Most dogs will not come (reliably) so they cannot run around the yard or field on their own. This results in less exercise for your dog that keeps them fit, happy and calm! Without a calm mind, your dog starts having behavior problems….they start out small and manageable but quickly build and eventually become out of control. For example, excessive barking, jumping, destructive behavior, anxiety and aggression are all signs of behavior issues. Proper training of your pet ensures a healthy balance of love and respect and a happy house of people and pets! With a little guidance and assistance, Muskoka Pet Tech can help you achieve that balance, reduce the stress in your home and return the peace between your pet and you.
Registered Veterinary Technician behaviour initial consultations are approximately 1 hour in your home.

Photography: Your pet is not just another mouth to feed, he is a furry four legged child! A wonderful part of your family that spends every moment of every day just waiting to please you. Capture the love with your best friend forever! Photos are taken by a published photographer and journalist. We pride ourselves on capturing the spirit of your pet.
Allowing 1-2 hours for your photo session will allow you and your pet to relax, making room for some great candid shots. Session includes: consultation, one 8x10 image, professional touch up and editing, photo DVD of ALL images taken, suitable for printing or social media and of course a bag of treats for your best friend!. Relax with your pet and capture the moment! If you have an idea of what you are looking for just ask! See something you like in a magazine? Tear it out and bring it with you! We love new and exciting ideas! Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing. Call early to schedule your perfect day and avoid disappointment.
Paw Prints: Have your pets paw print last forever! We have all felt the pain of losing one of our sweet babies too soon, its never easy to say goodbye! Having a special momento of our beloved pet can help you cherish those memories! Paw prints and the background come in a variety of color and we can even add their name to the print. A quick and painless test will give you the results you are looking for. 100% accuracy. This test will not only show you if your pet is in fact 100% purebred, but also show you the percentage of each breed in his/her DNA.
