My Painted House

My Painted House started up when my husband and I purchased our century home 4 years ago. In order to decorate I started purchasing second hand furniture and refinishing it. I love anything rustic or with a cottage/country feel. We slowly began filling our walls with handmade signs/artwork as well, as I could never find what I was after in the stores.

We are a husband and wife team, he does the building and I do the painting. Together we pride ourselves on being able to provide you with unique pieces of art for your home.

I also love being able to create unique gifts that customers can give to their loved ones. I am one who likes to put a lot of thought and consideration into the gifts I give to people in my life, I love being able to help my customers do the same. Something you just can't buy from a big box store.

We aim to host one large workshop per month, so keep an eye out for these events. You are also welcomed to host a private workshop with your friends. Please read over the private workshop policies before booking.

Private Workshop Policies

1. Customer is responsible for hosting the class.
2. My Painted House will provide all supplies, please let MPH know ahead of time if you need tables brought to the class.
3. We are happy to leave the Niagara region; workshops outside of the Niagara region will be an extra $5 per person to cover gas costs.
4. A minimum of 4-5 people is needed to host a private class.
5. You can choose whichever project you like, prices may vary based on items chosen.
6. You can put anything you like on a sign for a private class, up to 15 words.
7. Final details on the number of participants and what each person is making MUST be sent a week prior to the class, or the class will be canceled. My Painted House is a home-based business; therefore we have to work around our family and need a week to prepare and purchase materials needed for the class.
8. All changes to requests must be given 48 hours prior to the time of the workshop.
