Located in a beautiful COUNTRY neighborhood in upper Glenmore, Nature Friend Daycare strives to provide a unique and different approach to caring for your children. This is a place where children can come apart from the noise, fumes and stimulation of the busy city life and EXPERIENCE NATURE as their friend.

Nadine Crombie, the director and owner of Nature Friend Daycare has a wide variety of experience that that includes being a organic farmer for years, a carpenter and building her own furniture, birdhouses, and even beautiful log beds and being a trail guide for a private school in the beautiful Mable Lake Valley. She can identify multiple local birds, animals, trees and plants and lovingly passes her knowledge on to the younger generation. Nadine has over 30 years experience in maintaining and teaching healthy lifestyle choices. She has worked with many health workshops and health retreats and uses a gentle and respectful approach with children not yet accustomed to a vegetarian diet.

The Nature Friend Daycare property has lots of interactive activities available for the children to enjoy inside and outside. In the fenced back yard there is a NATURE PLAYHOUSE with wildflower sod roof that is exciting for children to play in, a fun playground swing set and play house, huge sand box, and kid friendly gardens to learn gardening in.
