Ashburn Golf Club has been an integral part of the Halifax landscape since Governor General Lord Byng hit the ceremonial ball from the first tee of the Old Course in 1923. Now with two challenging 18-hole golf courses and a comprehensive practice facility, Ashburn takes its place among the leading private golf clubs in Canada.
Originally designed by Stanley Thompson, the Old Course remains a delightful green space just minutes from downtown Halifax. The 18-hole par-67 layout is short but tight, and offers spectacular views of the city. Its modern clubhouse is popular with members for dining, family occasions, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.
