Nicholas Fudge Architects

Nicholas Fudge was born and raised on the east coast. He graduated with a Masters in Architecture from Dalhousie University and is a licensed architect in Nova Scotia.

Nicholas' projects range from custom residential homes to commercial projects. He is co-founder and Creative Director in Atlantic Canada's premiere prefab design company, East Coast Modern (http://eastcoastmodern.ca/), which specializes in modern prefabricated structures.

Nicholas works closely with clients to design buildings that suit their needs and incorporate their lifestyle. His designs are site-specific, taking into account solar orientation, views, landscape, and the surrounding context. He is a firm believer that good design and sustainable building strategies are not mutually exclusive.

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Nicholas can often be found searching for waves to surf along the province’s coastline. His design influence has been shaped in part from his travels, including stints living in Taiwan and Japan, and time spent travelling in south-east Asia, Mexico, and Central America.
