Oblige your cravings

The summer of 2013, busy and on the go meant a mainly raw food diet. Autumn came along...adding pasta, bread, cheese & yogurt back into my diet had a bad result. My stomach would ache and I didn't understand why. Thinking it was the food I was eating, I cut out pasta and bread for a couple days, k, a little less pain. Then I ditched dairy, a little better. Still I hurt...So, I eliminated dairy and gluten filled products all together, and I felt pretty good. For the next year I continued with this revised diet. I would from time to time still notice achiness though, on top of having skin issues for years and trying different things to help combat that problem to no avail, I knew there was more to this picture. I finally saw a specialist and got tested for other possible allergies. I now had to eliminate corn, egg and tomato from my diet as well. I am feeling great and my skin problems are gone.... This altered diet now proved very difficult to indulge in the one thing I really craved, sweets!! The trip to the grocery store to read the food labels expelled the ability to indulge my sweet teeth. I finally said to myself; 'self, you need to Oblige your cravings! Create your own sweets that won't hurt you and will satisfy your two sweet teeth.' So I did. With hundreds of hours of due diligence, determined to fill this niche, I created decadent sweets that satisfy without the pain and little guilt. I now say to you, go on, Oblige your cravings!
