On the Edge Premier Hockey Academy

Students in grades 8 - 12 can earn a Physical Education credit while attending the OTE Academy during school hours. In cooperation with Vernon B.C. School District 22, OTE staff will ensure distance learning regulations will be met. A fully certified high school teacher will serve as a key member of the hockey academy staff to ensure students understand and attend to their academic obligations. Students will be exposed to a proper range of educational material while still primarily focused on hockey skill development.

There's power in real pro experience, especially in teaching aspiring hockey players skill development. From skating to stick-handling to shooting, our lead on-ice instructors know what it takes to be successful as they have played all the way up from minor hockey through Junior to the NHL level. They understand first hand the road ahead of young players and how important proper hockey skill development is to reaching their goals. Even better, Sandy and Dean are also active winning minor hockey coaches who are motivated to teach, inspire and motivate young players to be the best they can be.
