ORCCA Dental

ORCCA's purpose is to provide children and adolescents under 19 years of age from low-income families access to oral care in a not for profit setting. It is based on the beliefs that all children and adolescents have the right to healthy oral care and that effective oral care positively transforms the health and lives of children and adolescents.

ORCCA services include basic dental care, referrals to our volunteer specialists, oral hygiene instruction and many more resources.

Eligibility for ORCCA services include being under 19 years old and the following:

1. being part of the B.C. Healthy Kids Program
2. being part of the Non-Insured Heath Benefits Program for First Nations Children and Adolescents
3. belonging to a family with an income of less then $40, 000 a year and no dental insurance. Eligibility will be determined through income tax statements or agency social work recommendations.

Note: Special circumstances such as several children in the family will be given consideration through application to a Patient Review Committee for situations where there is low income, no dental insurance and/or the above criteria do not apply.
