Oromocto & Surrounding Area Food & Clothing Bank

Our food bank provides some of the basic necessities in crisis and emergency situations to the financially vulnerable members of our community.


During the 2010 – 2011 year we provided services to family units from the communities of Oromocto, Burton, Upper Gagetown, Sheffield, Maugerville, Wirral, Hoyt, Enniskillen, Blissville, Fredericton Jct, Tracy, Rusagonis, Lincoln, and Geary. Our clients also include senior citizens, handicapped individuals and youth.

We have recently undertaken the task of constructing a new building to house our food bank. The decision to build was necessitated by the fact that we are currently located in a military housing unit which is ultimately scheduled for demolition. Our goal is to ensure that we have a stable location from where we can continue to provide access to sufficient and healthy food as well as other services, which directly impact the quality of life for the whole community. Any financial assistance we can obtain would provide us with critical funding that is needed to complete this urgently needed community project.
