Cheryl Todd Shergold is a Canadian artist that has always believed "Art is in everyone". My goal in life is to leave every person I love, a little piece of me, through my art. A white canvas is something that seems unnatural yet very exciting to me. Growing up in the mountains has created a bond between nature and myself.

I admire the art works of artists such as John Singer Sargent, Velasquez, and Pino - just to name a few. I love to immerse myself in the world of art. I live and breathe color. I analyze composition. I absorb technique. I love to learn and play!

I love many different subjects and find it hard to narrow my subjects down to any one given theme. I work in Acrylics, watercolors and oils (I would LOVE to attempt sculpture and pottery...hmmmm). I love the palette of color nature has provided for us to use.

Through my many years of experience I am confident in technical and product knowlege. If there is a question you have I am fairly sure I can answer it, and if I can't then I am sure my network of fellow artists can! Feel free to contact me with anything you may be struggling with.

I started the Crossfield Art Studio to offer the residents of Crossfield and Rockyview a place to purchase art supplies and to learn art through classes.
It is my working studio where I create all my works of art as well as complete commisions. It is also adjoined with our family business, Crossfield Power Equipment, Small engine sales service and repairs. So come join me for a coffee, browse through my art, learn a lesson or two and above all else...look at the world through new eyes.
