Perfect Pairs

Giselle and Mike stumbled across the concept of the store while on a weekend trip to Fargo visiting family. “The concept blew us away. We were enthralled with the flavours available and the freshness of the product”. They knew right then and there that this was something they wanted to bring home.

Once this decision was made, they put thought into where in Winnipeg that would be and they both agreed that the north side of Winnipeg was the place. “We grew up on this side of the city” the couple recalls. “This is an area where lots of families are starting their roots and they don’t have a specialty grocery store that offers them what their families deserve; quality products to get them back into the kitchen. We want to teach families and friends they can have a great, nutritious meal at home, and have fun cooking it.” They opened their doors to the public on November 12th, 2015 and haven’t looked back. Since opening, they have introduced the availability of “private tasting parties” where you can book the facility to host an event for your friends, family or co-workers, or even as a team building event for employers and employees. This is a service they offer at no charge.

They also strive to bring in local products that pair well with their oils and vinegars. “We look for products from Winnipeg to carry in our store that compliment what we do. If we can’t find them in Manitoba, we keep the sources Canadian”.
