Positively Birth Doula Services

My role as your doula during your birth is to help you feel comfortable, confident and supported. I work for you and your partner as your experienced birthing resource; we will meet at least 3 times before your labour begins to discuss your birth wishes. We will make a plan of how you would like to birth and to address any worries you might have. If labour doesn’t go as expected we will plan for that as well. Having a doula also means having support for your partner, someone that they can look to for advice or backup. During the last 2 weeks of your pregnancy I will be on call for you 24 hours a day. When you go into labour I can be with you as soon as you need. My services include postpartum and breastfeeding assistance as well. The first few days at home often stir up many emotions and questions. We will have at least 2 home visits during the first few weeks to review any concerns such as pain, nursing and nutrition.
