Rafter Lazy S Livestock Co.

Rafter Lazy S is located in the hamlet of Leavitt, Alberta; owned by Robert and Heather Schmitke and operated by the Schmitke family.

We run Purebred Black Angus Cattle. This year our inventory includes 110 cows, 40 heifers, 2 herd bulls, 25 two year old bulls, and 45 yearling bulls. We pride ourselves on having quality cattle that are quiet to work with.

The Leavitt ranch was purchased in 2008, but Rafter Lazy S has been in operation since the 1990's.
