Real Horse Rescues is an educational media project created to share real horses stories that help readers and viewers discover WHO horses really are as companions, partners, and friends of humanity. It is an original series created by Susan Kayne to raise public awareness of equine welfare concerns by placing a lens on horses who have been saved from slaughter by the work of equine sanctuaries, rescues, and adoption organizations, and thus foster public participation in the equine community from a place of compassion.
Real Horse Rescues is a registered trade name of the Unbridled Thoroughbred Foundation. A 501 c (3), not-for-profit educational organization guided by the belief that every equine life deserves humane treatment, compassion, respect, and protection from harm.
