The Reformed Presbyterian Church of Calgary is a mission work under the supervision of our mother church, the Shelter Reformed Presbyterian Church of Edmonton. We hope to be taken 'under care' of the St. Lawrence of the RPCNA in the near future.
We are a small group of Christians in Calgary who believe in and worship the eternal, Triune God. We also believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority for doctrine and life. We trust in Christ alone to save us and believe that His righteousness is sufficient for our redemption. We confess His present reign over all things and believe that He manifests His Kingdom in His Church, our lives and in our nation. We believe that the Holy Spirit is sanctifying us and preparing us for eternal life with God and His people.
We confess the historic Reformed faith as contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith and supplemented by the Testimony of the RPCNA. We worship God according to the directions of His Word, singing His inspired songs (the biblical Psalms) and making melody in our hearts to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19). We seek to conform our lives to God's law (as contained in the Ten Commandments). We are submitted to a body of elders in the church and Presbytery, believing that this is the government that is in accord with the scripture.
