If you like honest and delicious food, then you are missing out if you have not discovered Shalimar. Chef-owners Jyoti Nigam and Lizy Anthony have been feeding fine Indian food to its regular customers from across the Eastern Townships (and beyond) for over two decades. Shalimar boasts a traditional tandoor, or clay oven, which turns out delectable naan and tandoori meats. The restaurant is equally hospitable to vegetarians and non-vegetarians and often offers a modestly-sized (and priced) buffet complete with items of flavour and freshness that will change the way you think about buffets. This is casual fine dining at its best.
