Gardening is a simple pleasure in life that gives people the freedom of growing their own food, the joy of watching a plant grow from a tiny seed, and a better understanding of the environment from these experimental miniature ecosystems. When gardening with native plants, our understanding, appreciation, and satisfaction with our work in nature is that much more important and empowering.

Native plants have the benefit of sustaining wildlife that depend on specific plants for their survival. Without native plants, we would not have the diversity of bees, butterflies, and birds that further support our environment, interests, and economies. Many native plants perform specific structural roles in our landscapes as well - with their deep-reaching roots and tolerance to the Canadian climate extremes, native plants can control erosion and slow down the transfer of pollutants in to water.

ReWild Ecosystem Services seeks to give people the opportunity to make a positive impact in their gardens, lives, communities and landscapes by restoring the natural flora, fauna, and ecosystem services provided by a healthy environment.
