Me Roberta Harthel-Côté holds two law degrees (B.C.L./LL.B.) from McGill University Faculty of Law and also graduated with an Honours Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Concordia University. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2012.
Me Harthel-Côté practices almost exclusively in criminal law and penal law and defends her clients in all criminal matters.
She is dynamic, attentive to detail and has an empathetic understanding of the difficult situation her clients are in, both personally and legally. She is passionate about criminal law and uses her drive, experience and knowledge to defend her clients zealously and to fight for their rights in the criminal justice system.

Me Harthel-Côté regularly handles cases in other areas of the law which relate to criminal issues or that stem from a client having a criminal record (e.g. civil litigation, immigration law, administrative law, parole board).
She runs a legal clinic centred on criminal law for the non-profit organization Head and Hands and offers her services pro bono to a number of other community organizations.
She is an active member of the Montreal Criminal Defence Lawyers Association and of the Young Bar Association of Montreal.
