Dr. Charlie Sulko
In 1996, Dr. Charlie Sulko obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Agricultural University of Tirana, Albania. In 2001, Dr. Sulko earned his Master of Science degree in International Animal Health from University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Dr. Sulko has been working in Canada as a veterinarian since June of 2003. He worked in Drumheller and Hanna for about 3 years. In March 2006 Dr. Sulko joined the Shawnessy South Pet Hospital team in Calgary and he worked there until December 2011.

In December 2011, Dr. Sulko established the Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital in the North West of Calgary with the mission to provide the best care and service to clients and patients.

Dr. Sulko has special interests in surgery, ultrasonography and dentistry. He has attended several training courses in Dentistry and has special interest in endodontic procedures (root canal therapy, crown reduction) and oral surgery.

Dr. Sulko is active member of Alberta Veterinary Medical Association and Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Sulko enjoys living in Calgary with his wife Anjeza, daughter Mattea, son Joey and their cat Sandra who was rescued 8 years ago.

Dr. Alice Chan
Alice has lived in Calgary almost her entire life after emigrating from Hong Kong as a young baby. She always wanted to be a veterinarian.

Dr. Chan first graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and a Masters in Medical Science. After spending a year in Ireland, and graduating from her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Saskatoon in 2007, she returned back to Calgary.

Dr. Chan recently joined our team at Rockyridge Pet Hospital and is looking forward to her new endeavour after working at the Crowfoot Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. She is very interested in both canine and feline medicine and greatly enjoys her surgery days. In her spare time Alice helps out with the Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force.

Alice has rescued two mischievous pups, Rocco and Scamp, you may occasionally see or hear them in our clinic. Both live happily together with the 3 cats, Ruby, Neo & Olive
