Roseneath Fall Fair

It’s time to circle September 235th - 25th on your calendar. Plan on bringing your family and make memories that will last a lifetime at the 148th Roseneath Fall Fair taking place at the Roseneath Fairgrounds, 9109 County Road #45. Take highway 401 exit 474 at Cobourg and go north on County Road #45, 20 km to Roseneath.

There are events and activities for every age group. Relax and enjoy with old friends and family. Parking is free.

Moms and Dads ----- The Rosebud Baby Show takes place in the Roseneath School auditorium.

Exhibit halls open Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Stop by the homecraft and junior work competition in the Alnwick Civic Centre for displays showcasing our very talented exhibitors. Saturday events begin with livestock competitions including – Morgan/Light Horse Classes, 4H Calf Club, 4H Interclub competition, Junior/Intermediate Showmanship competition and Sheep Classes. Take in the antique tractor pull for stock farm tractors pre 1960, Sheep Shearing Demonstrations, the Northumberland Poultry and Pigeon display and The Roseneath Strongman Competition

Calling all children to the Kids Corner in the Barn. Enter the children’s tug-of-war and sack races.

Saturday at 6:00 pm the Demolition Derby is reving up.

Sunday, the festivities begin again with the gates opening at 9:00 a.m. Livestock class competitions include Beef, and the Light and Heavy Horse and Pony pulls.

An Ecumenical Church Service from 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm takes place in the Picnic Shelter.

The Northumberland Cattlemen’s Association Steer Show and Auction is sure to be a winner.

The Kids Corner in the barn is back for a second day with excitement for the children.

If it is more excitement you want, watch the Lawnmower Pulls followed by the Grass Hogs Lawn Tractor racing or get ready for Billy G. Amusements Inc. midway on Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm . Sunday the midway runs from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Don’t forget that the the famous Roseneath Carousel is also in operation both Saturday and Sunday.

Hot meals are served each day in the Alnwick Civic Centre from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
