Safetynet clothing donation program

Last year Safetynet Children & Youth Charities donated roughly 12,000.00 pieces of clothing, free of charge, to families experiencing financial hardships in the Halton community, including 500 business suits for men and woman re-entering the work-force. Safetynet is trying to increase its profile in the community to obtain clothing donations. Clothing can be dropped off at our charity office in Oakville, at 428 South Service Road East suite 203, or we will gladly pick it up in areas bordering Appleby to Ford Drive, upper middle, to the lake. Stained, ripped, or clothing that cannot by the charity is recycled for 15 cents a pound, supporting our music and tutoring programs, and insuring unwanted clothing is not clogging our landfills. We encourage you to have others like our page, that way we can update others on clothing needed, and continue to increase the donations to our clothing bank.
