Salvage Girls

Salvage Girls was born when we went to get barn wood one day for a project and when we got to the barn, it was full of antiques, old stuff and lots of junk! The owner said we could take it all if we hauled it away and did the work. So we did! On the drive home we thought, what do we do now??
That was July 2013, and now here we are in a shop of our own. Our main focus at Salvage Girls is to provide DIYer's with raw materials to create their own masterpieces, but we also offer finished pieces and custom work. We also have a program called Paint It Forward, which is when someone donates a piece of furniture etc to us, a % of the profit made from the piece as is or refinished, will be donated to a charity of their choice.
Our mission is simple, to keep as much as possible out of the landfills. So much gets tossed that can be reused, refinished or re purposed! That is what we have set out to accomplish and also to bring awareness to the idea of recycling instead of tossing.
I am a stay at home mom of 3 small children, and my main job is being their mom, so the shop is only open on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment only other days!
We do custom refinishing, supply the DIY'ers, tear downs, salvaging, garbage picking, clear out hoarder homes, estates etc etc
You can find us in Bay 3, 12001 44 street SE! (Located in the Cerebral Palsy Association building)
We have 110 year old doors, barn wood, antiques, vintage items, and everything in between!

Hours of operation :
Saturdays - 10am to 4pm
Sundays - 11am to 3pm
