Who is Sanatec Environmental?
Sanatec Environmental, a division of Highlander Enterprises Inc., provides a multitude of services for oilfield, agricultural, and restaurant industries in Medicine Hat and the surrounding area. Our clients range from municipalities to large oil/gas producers, charitable organizations and the everyday household. Sanatec Environmental is the only organization in Southeastern Alberta that provides the diversity of services in these fields and to such a wide range of customers. Sanatec Environmental has been in operation as a division of Highlander Enterprises Inc. since May 2000.

What services does Sanatec Environmental provide?
- Vacuum truck services: Sanatec Environmental provides vacuum truck services for a wide range of purposes including industrial applications for maintenance and clean-up, septic tank cleaning and disposal, sewage cleaning / removal and oilfield waste hauling, construction cleaning, restaurant/commercial grease trap cleaning, car wash and commercial/industrial sump cleaning, and portable toilet/trailer maintenance.

- Portable toilet rental and servicing: Sanatec Environmental, with stock in excess of 350 units, has the largest inventory of portable restroom and washing facilities in Southern Alberta. We provide this service whether it is a large community event or the backyard barbeque. These facilities are also provided to countless construction and oilfield companies throughout Southeastern Alberta as well as Southwestern Saskatchewan.

- Video pipe inspection: In June 2006, Sanatec Environmental expanded its services and now provides inline CCTV video pipe inspection. This is accomplished by a self-propelled “crawler” with an attached camera head that has the ability to pan, tilt and zoom while moving through a pipe. This, combined with Granite XP™ software, produces for our clients DVD copies of inspections and detailed printed reports that include high-quality photographs of troubled areas or notable features within the pipe. This service can be performed on pipes that are a minimum six-inch diameter.

- Sewer flushing: Sanatec Environmental offers high-pressure sewer flushing services to municipalities, independent communities, large scale agricultural systems, industrial complexes, irrigation systems, and oil and gas pipeline companies. Our sewer flushing can be used in conjunction with our CCTV video inspection making us a full-service company during the construction of new sewer systems or the maintenance of existing systems. Flushing services can be performed on pipes that have a four-inch or larger diameter.
