Cassie grew up in the richly historical city of Brockville, ON and now lives in the lively capital of Canada. Growing up, her main interests were art and history. Later she would pursue a degree in Mortuary Archaeology and a career as an artist. Although, specializing in portraits, she is a multi-talented artist who produces high quality photographs, paintings, digital work and clothing. While her work may be a plethora of different mediums, they are all intangible, wistful glimpses of beauty.

Cassie's work has been heavily influenced by modern minimalism and the sensual, opulent darkness of noir film and photography. Her obsession with capturing beauty was introduced to her by artists such as the fashion photographer Richard Avedon, photo journalist David Seymour and David Hamilton. Though, these prominent photographers helped shape her vision, the human body is where she derives most of her inspiration.
