Shannon is a skilled and caring massage therapist. She worked on cruise ships after graduating from ICT Northumberland College, spending time in Europe, the UK and the Caribbean learning different modalities and techniques. She has been trained in Swedish massage, Sports massage, Deep Tissue massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki, Myofascial Release, Body wraps/scrubs, and Indian Scalp Massage.

Shannon believes every treatment should be tailored to the patient’s specific needs and requests, thereby achieving and maintaining optimal levels of healing. Shannon uses a wholistic approach to treating her patients, which has proven a successful approach to treatments.

Who is Massage for? Massage can be used to treat a large number of problems, from acute physical discomfort or chronic muscular problems to psychological dysfunction such as depression or anxiety.

Do I have to talk during a massage? If you would like silence during the treatment you should say so before the treatment begins. However, you may need to answer occasional questions during your massage.

How will I feel after the massage? Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience short-term aches and pains which generally feel no worse than soreness after a workout. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days.
