Shawn Mathews

I started dancing when I was 9. By the time I was 10, I was choreographing dances for myself and others including large groups at local cultural events.

My first exposure to the glamorous world of dancing was at the Zee TV Dance India Dance USA competition. I was too young to compete but was able to participate in a group dance. When i saw Rajat Batta winning, I instantly had a new dream, I was going to be the next Dance India Dance North America winner.

I worked hard towards my goal and it helped that I loved dancing. The next year, I won Dance India Dance North America! After that life changed. I am invited to perform everywhere.

My next dream or goal is to be recognized internationally as a dancer /performer.
