Sigma Chi UWO - Epsilon Omicron

This is the public page of the Epsilon Omicron (EO) chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity. News about the chapter and fraternity will be updated daily as well as any new event. Our aim is to create a positive relationship with the public, the University of Western Ontario (UWO), and Greek community.

Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) is one of the oldest and largest college Greek-letter secret and social fraternities in the world with 241 active chapters, 149 alumni chapters 15,700 undergraduate members and has over 300,000 initiates it is now the largest fraternity in the world with Brat Pitt, Luke Bryan, David Letterman, Ted Rogers, Jack Layton, and many other significant Sigs among our alumni. Sigma Chi was founded on June 28, 1855 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio when members split from Delta Kappa Epsilon. Sigma Chi has seven founding members: Benjamin Piatt Runkle, Thomas Cowan Bell, William Lewis Lockwood, Isaac M. Jordan, Daniel William Cooper, Franklin Howard Scobey, and James Parks Caldwell. Sigma Chi is a part of the Miami Triad, along with Beta Theta Pi and Phi Delta Theta.
