Slate Studio - Actors Meet-Up Toronto

A small group of actors meet to film a professional self-tape audition style (similar to what is done in some On-Camera Acting Classes). The scenes are from shows such as Orphan Black, Reign, Suits, 12 Monkeys, Good Witch, Hemlock Grove... all series that film here in Toronto. Scenes are chosen based on your suitability to play that character. Sides are sent 3-4 days prior and we film the memorized scene with a reader, try some re-directs and give feedback. The next day you receive the scene packaged as a professional self-tape that can be used for your own analysis, marketing material and/or can be sent to your agent or potential agent to demonstrate suitability for the series filming in the city.

The cost is $20 and you receive the best take as a self-tape the next day. If you would like all of your takes for analysis throughout the redirects and notes to see what you consistently do on camera in an audition setting it is an extra $5.
