Smiths Falls Celebration of Lights

The Smiths Falls Celebration of Lights is a month long event in December that provides free entertainment for families in Smiths Falls and the surrounding area.

NOTE: Due to construction during the winter of 2017 to the basin by Parks Canada we must take a 1 year hiatus. We will be back in 2018 bigger and brighter!

Let the spirit of the season embrace you as Victoria Park Campground comes alive with illumination! Beginning November 24, 2018 and continuing through December 31,2018 the festival is a great place to gather family and friends to capture the magic of the holiday season as you walk through the many beautiful light displays in Victoria Park along the Rideau Canal.

Our vision with the help of our community is to light up Victoria Park with various lighted displays provided by local service clubs, schools, churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals. We will do our best to light up as many trees in the park as we can afford each year and expand to other parks in town in the future. Then during the month of December families will be able to come down and walk through the park and enjoy the holiday lights!

There is no admission charge to visit the event, however, we do welcome (and encourage) you to make a donation. There will be donations boxes on site.

This year's Celebration of Lights may be small as we are just starting out but we will add on to it each year by adding more strings of lights in the trees, more displays, more activities hopefully growing so much that we spill over into Turtle Island, through Hydro Park and into Centennial Park in future years. Got to start somewhere but we always dream big at Together Smiths Falls!

The Celebration of Lights is operated by a non-profit group, Together Smiths Falls, Community Enhancement Association (TSF). TSF is solely responsible for funding and operating this event. We are a small non-profit organization committed to creating a spectacular holiday event in Victoria Park.
