Solie Designs

The name Solie is very important to me. Not only is it my Maiden name but also my daughters name (Solie Susie). The Solie family is a very well know name in the Everett Area. My Grandpa Owned the Solie funeral home in Everett, while my grandma, dad, & both my aunts lived on grounds at the cemetery. My Grandma (Susie Rucker) painted Norwegian paintings on caskets. My Grandma was the greatest person I've ever met. Caring, giving, selfless, with the biggest heart of anyone and what I strive to live by. She was the also the most creative person I've know and where I think I got my creative bug.

I'm not only a Solie but also a Rucker. My Grandma Susie Remarried my Grandpa Bill Rucker. Many of you who know Everett will know Rucker tomb & Rucker Ave. My Grandpa Bill is again is so generous & anyone who has met him knows he is fun, outgoing, & spontaneous, all in all just a blast to be around.

My Dad Hans Solie, went on to be a fire lieut. in Yakima Wa. & My aunt Kathy Attwood, the chief of police for everett. Much of my family is in law enforcement and is how I met my wonderful husband Arthur who is a K9 officer for Snohomish County.

I have been so blessed to have 2 amazing families that has laid the foundation for not just my business but my life. I strive to spread the love & Selflessness my Grandma & Grandpa have shown me.
I currently live in Arlington, Washington with my wonderful husband (Arthur) daughter & son (Solie Suisie & Hayden). I've always been creative, so photography, seemed to come natural to me. My many years of Retail management at Nordstrom & Jcrew made managing my own business come easy.

My love of photography started in high school. Photography class was by far my favorite class. I love that photography gives me the opportunity to document a unique relationship through beautiful photos. I feel so blessed to get to do something I love while creating images that will be cherished for years to come. I think my customers appreciate that I'm easygoing, fun, & I really go out of my way for all my clients. Not many people get to do what they truly love and I feel so lucky to call myself a Photographer & try to make the experience for you be just as special as my job.
