The South March Highlands is a unique area in Ottawa. It features outcroppings of the Canadian Shield as well as numerous wetland areas. Visitors to the area enjoy mountain biking, hiking, trail running, dog walking, and orienteering in the summer and for X-C skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

The South March Highlands is bounded by Huntmar Road, Old Carp Road, 2nd Line Rd and the railway. There are 2 main access points currently used. One is at the intersection of Klondike Road and 2nd Line Rd; the other is at the intersection of Brady Ave and 2nd Line Rd.
