Specially For You Ladies Boutique

In 1970, Claire Congdon, a visionary, saw the need for a store specializing in Ostomy, Colostomy and Ileostomy products, the first of it's kind in Alberta. Today, Congdon's Aids to Daily Living Ltd is revered by it's competition and often modeled from it.

In 1982, being a true entrepreneur and industry pioneer, Claire once again saw a need for another type of store, one that specialized in Mastectomy products. Women had very little choice available to them back then and so The Specially For You Ladies Boutique was born.

Specially For You has adopted the same principals as that of Congdon's by providing unsurpassed quality of products and service; This of course makes it the success it is today. Catering to the Breast Cancer Survivor whether they've undergone a full mastectomy or lumpectomy, SFY constantly stays in the forefront by seeking new technological advances in this field and making them available to their clientele.

Initially, SFY had it's own separate location, but in 2000, Congdon's build a new larger location boasting over 7000 square feet of space with lots of free parking, one block south of their original store and so incorporated the Boutique into this new location.
