Sri Varasiththi Vinaayagar Hindu College was founded by Dr. Sivasri. Panchadchara Vijayakumarakurukkal in April 2006 with the purpose to teach & promote Tamil, Hinduism, & Pannissai & Vedaagamas to the next generation of Canadian Tamil Hindus.

What started in 2006 with 65 students, in the past 10 years, it has grown to over 200 students, with 10 teachers passionate about Tamil & Hinduism.
