The church is surrounded on 3 sides by a beautiful cemetery that was first used in 1853. The current red brick building started construction in 1892. In 1977 it was designated a Historic Site because of some of its distinctive architectural features.
The congregation of St. John the Baptist, Norway represents a range of ages, backgrounds and interests. Worship is normally Eucharistic and includes wonderful organ and choir (adult and children) music. Our Youth and Children’s Ministry is strong and, along with a well run and well
attended Sunday school, is a focal point at each service.
