We are currently interviewing candidates to fill Teaching positions in 6 Shane English School in Taiwan.

The contracts are one year in duration.
Travel to Taiwan and accommodation allowance, for up to 10 days hotel stay, is available.
SALARY
The basic monthly salary depends upon qualifications and experience although the usual starting salary is between CAD$1,700 to CAD$1,900 per month for the minimum of 80 hours teaching. However most teachers teach more than the basic minimum and therefore average salaries are usually in the region of CAD$2,150 to CAD$2,600. Teachers will be given a 1st year contract bonus of CAD$850 for completion of the contract, 50% will be paid as a loan after 4 full calendar months with the remainder being paid at the end of the contract.
There is a lot of room for personal and career development within the Schools and potential of making up to CAD$5,150 per month.

To get you started in Taiwan you will need approximately CAD$3000 plus the flight cost that is refundable by school.
Your first pay can be arranged to be advanced if needed.

School Locations
Changhua, officially known as Changhua City, is a county-controlled city in Taiwan. For many centuries the site was home to a settlement of Babuza people, a coastal tribe of Taiwanese aborigines. Changhua city is ranked first by population among county-controlled cities.
Changhua is best known for its landmark statue of the Buddha. At 26 metres tall, the statue sits atop Bagua Mountain overlooking the city. The main walkway up to the giant is lined with statues of figures from Buddhist lore. Another site of interest is Taiwan's oldest temple honoring Confucius.
Yuanlin, City is a county-controlled city in eastern Changhua County, Taiwan. It is the second largest settlement in the county, after the county seat of Changhua City.
Taichung, officially known as Taichung City, is a special municipality located in center-western Taiwan. Taichung has a population of over 2.7 million people, making it the third largest city on the island after New Taipei City and Kaohsiung. On 25 December 2010, Taichung County merged with the original provincial Taichung City to form the special municipality. The city's motto is "economic, cultural and international city."
The schools you will be placed are franchises schools.
Franchise Schools
· These schools are owned and managed by Chinese nationals who have purchased a Shane franchise.
· Some schools are outside of Taipei/Taipei county (Out Region Schools) and some are in the Taipei or Taipei county area (In Region Schools). Some are in big cities and some are in more rural areas.
· Teachers may teach students of any age and levels of students (from kindergarten to business) both in group classes and one-on-one.
