The "Send-A-Kid To Camp" Program was established in 1984 to provide disadvantaged children aged 5-14 with the opportunity to attend summer camp. Children are referred to our program by various local social agencies that feel the child would benefit from this type of experience. Some parents cannot afford the luxury of sending their child to camp, and some children live in violent or abusive households. With this program, children who otherwise don't have the opportunity to enjoy such an experience, get to live out the fun, freedom and excitement that summer camp brings. "Send-A-Kid To Camp" allows these kids to just be kids!
